- Important Information Regarding EmblemHealth’s Reimbursement Program for Out‑of‑Network Behavioral Health Costs Under New York City’s Basic Health Plans
EmblemHealth recently notified the Welfare Fund about a mandated New York State reimbursement program related to out‑of‑network behavioral health costs processed under New York City’s basic health plans. This reimbursement program is not part of the Welfare Fund’s benefits, and the Fund has no authority or control over eligibility, processing, decisions, or payments.

- Medicare GLP‑1 Bridge Demonstration (CMS Program)
Medicare’s temporary GLP‑1 Bridge Demonstration provides access to GLP‑1 medications for weight‑loss treatment from July 1, 2026–December 31, 2027. The Fund has no role in eligibility, prior authorization, copayments, or claims processing.
