CONTINUING EDUCATION TEACHERS

Continuing Education Teachers (CET’s) are eligible for PSC-CUNY Welfare Fund benefits under the same terms as Full-Time Active members -- if they work 20 or more hours per weeks and are on an appointment of six or more months. This is generally coincident with coverage under the New York City Health Benefits Program in accordance with the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.

For purposes of reading the Fund’s Summary Plan Description, all references to Full-Time Active members includes this qualified category of Continuing Education Teachers.
